About Jeff
Jeff Kolbjornsen took an active interest in working with dogs in 1975. Since then, he began researching the nature and makeup of dogs and what drives and controls them, how they communicate amongst themselves and how they communicate with people. For the past 35 years has worked “hands on” with the most difficult and aggressive dogs, as well as trained and excelled in various advance level
K-9 competitions.
Jeff’s particular specialty lies in the “deprogramming” of problematic and aggressive dogs. He earned his well known title as New York’s Dog Whisperer™ from his successful rehabilitation of these difficult and misunderstood dogs.
Jeff single-handedly saved thousands of dogs by reprogramming their negative behaviors.
Jeff Kolbjornsen is a behavior expert, master trainer, expert court witness and dog advocate. He continues to represent those dogs that are subject to New York's Dangerous Dog Law as well as cases in other states and Canada. His most well known represented clients so far have been “Duke” the Bulldog and “Duke” the Red Nose Pit bull. Both of these cases received major media attention and tracking and resulted in life saving decisions because of Jeff’s expert witness evaluations and testimony.
