behaviors, participated “hands on” with the most difficult, aggressive dogs, as well as trained and competed with schutzhund, protection and service dogs.

I was able to recognize the general similarity of behavior and response in all of these categories of dogs, regardless of their role or service. My extensive involvement with showmanship and breeding contributed to my recognition of the direct correlation of quality breeding to behavior.

Since 1998 I began specializing in training the most problematic and aggressive dogs on Long Island, NYC and the surrounding areas. My particular specialty lies in the "deprogramming" of difficult and aggressive dogs.

I have acted as a behavioral consultant for many organizations including: Long Island Bull Dog Rescue, Last Hope Rescue and Rehabilitation, Little Shelter, North Shore Animal League, Save-a-Pet, Mixed Breeds in Need Rescue, Boxer Angels Rescue, Long Island Dogs Rescue, Loving Touch Rescue and many others. In addition to providing consultation and customized training to these groups, I've conducted informational workshops in elementary schools and BOCES trade schools.

I have also made guest appearances as a canine specialist on The Morning Show and the Bloomberg Report. I have earned my reputed title as “New York's Dog Whisperer” because of my successful rehabilitation of difficult and misunderstood dogs. I single-handedly saved hundreds of these dogs by reprogramming their negative behaviors.

I also continue to advocate for and represent as an expert witness those dogs that are subject to New York's Dangerous Dog Law. My most successfully represented client so far has been “Duke” the Bulldog.

I'm sharing my insight and expertise with the general public and canine servers by continuing to provide customized seminars and workshops to individual groups as well as in public forums.
